NEW PARTNERSHIP WILL HELP SMALL BUSINESSES PREPARE
AGAINST GROWING CYBERSECURITY THREATS

For Immediate Release
March 18, 2019

Washington, D.C. – Technology has transformed the way small companies do business, allowing
them to find new clients and sell their goods and services all over the world. Yet many small
businesses who utilize these new technologies lack the resources – both financial and technical
to implement sound cybersafe best practices. To help address this problem, we are excited
about the new partnership between The National Cybersecurity Society (NCSS) and Atlas
Cybersecurity.

“We believe this partnership will provide our small businesses with access to expertise and
technical solutions tailored to their needs”, states NCSS CEO, Mary Ellen Seale. “In our
experience, many have yet to implement basic protections – like firewalls, antivirus software,
spam filters or data-encryption tools. Additionally, many lack an IT department or formal Internet
security policies for employees. Small businesses need solutions that are accessible – both in
terms of cost and ease of implementation”.

Atlas Cybersecurity – a managed security service provider, is providing a full range of security
services. Basic services include continuous monitoring, a 24/7/365 security operations center,
endpoint and network defense – with additional features of auditing and pen testing. Currently
we are working to highlight these services on the NCSS website. CEO, Ben Dynkin of Atlas
Cybersecurity states “by working with the NCSS, we are able to provide access to sorely needed
services to a segment of the market that has been historically underserved.”
